This is from Beta, so don't know if any diff from Alpha.. but here's a video of me getting up to the infinity Gate. (I received an achievement for being to the closest to it) (To Infinity and Beyond) I think.

Well went to infinity gate on Saturday morning 3rd November and it looks nothing like the video it is full of camps with level 60 mobs on the way not open ground at all in it a few mad dashes and deaths were required (the end of the video the camp is the same but a lot more mobs) but I got the acheivement.
