Flourish is actually pretty nice right now. My 50 mage in mixed blighted/HK gear does more healing with flourish than my 55 warden's healing effusion. Effusion is spammable true, but the tradeoff...
The raid positioning thing was part of my statement about position. It does require people to adapt to a new playstyle, but isn't much different than adapting to a boss mechanic or adapting to...
Tactician requires more attention to positioning, yes, but its heals have actually received a buff relative to other aoe heals. All aoe heals got reduced by about 50% (every class/soul), but aside...
oops, double post
If they incorporated this idea with a long enough CD that it could not be used every time the raid took damage, I'd be behind it. 1 minute at the very least.
Already corrected my mistake regarding the 15 GCDs.
The reason HI was used as an example was because of its high healing value, I should have instead used CI as the example, or a tidal surged HI....
I neglected to mention that this happens even if the foul growths trigger naturally at the end of their timer, with the foul growths on everyone else disappearing w/o healing.
There wasn't a bard specific nerf; there was a nerf to all aoe healing in the game.
My mistake, 5 GCDs not 15.
Hopefully this is a bug. Right now if you have FG on several targets and consume them to heal someone, it consumes all of your FGs on everyone, with only the person that you triggered them on...
If you only started stacking them after damage has come then it wouldn't be as OP, but the foul growths are meant to be stacked prior to damage and then "detonated" after the damage. 3 stacks of FG...
With the reduction to aoe heals this would be a bit too powerful since it would be applying an ST heal as an aoe heal. If the aoes hadn't been reduced I think it would have been good though.
Are you saying a ranged skill should change to match a melee comparable skill just because you choose to use it in melee? Then doesn't that mean that all range souls should do equal DPS to melee...
Raids and experts have extra modifiers in them that necessitate the need for these stats. Experts and raids will still need them, just not normal dungeons and (most) open world stuff. That includes...
When I first looked at it I thought Reckoning was our upgraded form of Strike of Judgement, and I still think that was the intent. Only after I specced for it did I realize that it is a long range...
What spec are you using and why would you not use beacon? Beacon alone will double the damage of pain transmission.
Actually no need to throw transformers into the mix. The Starship Troopers book actually was very big on the mechanized suit combat aspect, jumpjets and all.
And you say brain bugs don't exist...
I'd been dreading this change ever since it was announced with the mage reveal. Damage conversion healing added a nice flavor to the game. Now none of the souls that used it can do so anymore......
Purifier did in a way
8 people receive the curse, and for each person that is cursed they do damage to 3 nearby enemies. Think of how tyranny/soul drain work; this is just a dot using the same concept.
That's... actually kinda funny.
Shroud of Agony is an "on hit" ability, not an "on damage" ability.
I love the new purifier but I feel the aoe shields need to have another level of "smartness" added to them. Currently if you try to refresh shields on a raid the spell only looks for current level...
